What No One Knows, the award-winning narrative feature film with themes of cultural pressures, friendships, secrets and betrayals, winning amongst others, “Best Feature Film” at the Festival International du Film Panafricain (Cannes, France) and the “Spotlight Feature Film” at the Topaz Film Festival (Dallas, United States), has now released its official soundtrack album.
The WNOK album, an all-original track album, featuring the titular track, What No One Knows, written by Leke and Layo Laguda and produced and performed by Blaqnote, Kíní Mò Sè written by Tope Laguda, produced by Emeka Onuoha and performed by vocal powerhouse, Olubunmy, as well as Paradīsè (also performed by Olubunmy), Heartbroken and Love You Forever, produced, written and arranged by the Remaker Group, led by Emeka and the euphonious Rhema Onuoha, is now LIVE on Spotify, iTunes and all major music platforms!
Every single track is special and tells the story of WNOK in its own unique way as the listener is taken on the WNOK journey from the beginning of the film (Sisters Forever) right through to the end (What No One Knows)! In addition to the instrumentals, the album also presents orchestral compositions by Emeka Onuoha. The songs and sounds transcend genre in a manner which cut straight through to the emotions and energy of the scenes which inspired them.
